Job Summary: Knight Streeter Trucking is seeking a reliable and professional Non-CDL Box Truck Driver based in the Cleveland area. Drivers will operate a 26-foot box truck with liftgate and transport freight throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Immediate start available for qualified applicants. Compensation: •1099 Independent Contractor Position • Starting pay of $1,100+ per week based on experience and driving record • Weekly Pay • Truck and fuel provided Schedule & Route Details: • Drivers must be available for dispatch 5 days per week between Sunday evening and Friday • Additional compensation available for work performed beyond the standard 5-day schedule • Over-the-road and local pickups and deliveries are assigned throughout the workweek; early morning and overnight travel are required • Frequent lanes include OH, NY, PA, NJ, VA, and MD • Mileage varies based on available freight and assigned routes, with most weeks under 2,500 miles Responsibilities: • Safely operate a 26-foot box truck with liftgate • Transport freight on assigned routes • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and load documentation • Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and route updates • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures • Assist with freight handling when required Requirements: • Valid Driver's License • Clean driving record • Ability to pass a background check • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card • Ability to lift, move, and handle freight when required • Ability to tra • Reliable communication and professional customer service skills • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Cleveland, Ohio Preferred Qualifications: • Current DOT Medical Card • Prior box truck or commercial driving experience • Liftgate experience • Pallet jack experience • Strong time management and communication skills Why Drive With Us?
